What Is Your Path?

Development Camps are a big part of every NHL teams summer. Even at such a high level it is extremely important that players arm themselves with the knowledge and work ethic that it will take for them to one day become NHL players. Jeff Blashill delivered and amazing speech at the Red Wings Development Camp that inspired us to provide the same professional opportunity to our younger athletes. The coaches at the Elite Hockey Players Development Camp will bring their knowledge and experience to help challenge and mentor all of our aspiring elite players all while providing them with the most rewarding developmental week of their lives.

Coaches Comments

“It takes an incredible amount of work and dedication to make it to Junior, College and Pro hockey. Players need to understand that the journey is full of ups and downs. A simulated pro development camp like EHP will help young players gain an edge that will help advance their careers.”
Marc Crawford, Stanley Cup Winning Coach
“I’ve been a part of 10 NHL Development Camps. Each year players come into camp and have their eyes opened for them. As a player why would you wait until you’re 18 or 19 to get this experience. Players attending the EHP camp will accelerate their learning curve and take their games to a new level.”
Mike Valley, Dallas Stars
“Development camps provide a great learning environment for young aspiring players. These camps give education and insight into what its like to be a pro. They also give players a feel for the mental and physical demands, and the commitment needed. I’ve seen many players use these development camps as a stepping stone to take the next step”.
Paul Jerrard, Vancouver Canucks
“The ability of development camps to deliver solid information, skill work, and knowledge about the game of hockey in a focused environment is really a huge benefit to players. I wish they existed when I was younger trying to reach my goals as a hockey player. “
Stu Barnes, 16 year NHL Veteran
“We are inviting players in the key stages of their career to have unprecedented access to world class coaching, championship level experiences and advice that will make them valuable assets to any organization. Attending EHP gives you a huge advantage.”
Pasco Valana, EHP Vancouver Camp Director
“The game of hockey, as a team sport, is largely based on a foundation of individual skill development in combination with the refinement of game like read and react situations. Based on my experience, the use of focused development programs, accelerate the refinement of a player’s technical and tactical skill set vital for excelling in today’s game. The competitive advantage of focused attention both on and off the ice; the highly trained staff and the teacher to student ratio create the necessary environment for the serious player to make the next step as an elite athlete.”
